On the weekend of December 1 - 4, 2011, Broward County will celebrate another first in American sports history! The Cricket Stadium at Central Broward Regional Park will be the main venue for the 3rd Annual U.S. Cricket Open ! As a gesture of gratitude to the South Florida cricket fan, and especially to the very supportive Broward County cricket communities, Cricket Council USA , a sports and entertainment management company, has made the U.S. Cricket Open free to the public. There will be free admission for all the games from Thursday morning right through the Championship Match on Sunday afternoon.

Thirty two (32) teams combined with former international, national and local stars will be converging on beautiful South Florida to complete for the Championship Trophy and $50,000.00 first prize. Much like the format of major US golf and tennis opens, the US Cricket Open will be a fun-filled four day extravaganza (entertainment, cheerleaders, food) that will be the richest and largest T20 cricket tournament to be played in North America.
